This is a quilt I finished for the Thimble Pleasures Quilt Show for 2020 which were unable to hold last year. It was a fun and interesting technique/pattern by Valley Fabrics in Northampton, MA. Francesca and her staff are wonderfully helpful and talented. You can see more about Valley fabrics here; https://shopvalleyfabrics.com/about-us or https://www.facebook.com/ShopValleyFabrics/
Moving on to selections for quilt blocks that resemble an old-fashioned crocheted granny square. Once I had the correct number of squares cut, I divided the appropriate number and combination on paper plates and stacked them up to get ready for sewing. That made the process so much easier in the long run. It's a process and pattern I'd like to share with my quilt friends at some point in time. Maybe at a getaway for guild!?
Here's one of the finished granny squares. Violet seems to approve.
And then it's time for a ride to the end of the road for a calming view at Ocean Point. It doesn't disappoint.
Sweet dreams of quilts and sunsets and wonderful days ahead.
