A room with a view

Pressing

Classroom sewing area - sewing the last row on a 1920's One Thousand Pyramids quilt.

The view from the classroom

After a few trial runs with my quilter friends, the studio is ready for regular classes.  I'll be advertising locally in the next few weeks with classes starting in November.

Your classroom looks like a pleasure to work in. Makes me wish I were near to come join a class! Best wishes to you! :D

"The last few decades have belonged to a certain kind of person
with a certain kind of mind-computer programmers who could
crank code, lawyers who could draft contracts, MBA's who could
crunch numbers. But the keys to the kingdom are changing hands.
The future belongs to a very different kind of person with a different
kind of mind-- creators and empathizers, pattern recognizers, and
meaning makers. These people-- artists, inventors, designers,
storytellers, caregivers, consolers, big picture thinkers- will now reap
society's richest rewards and share its greatest joys."

and she wants to visit. I'll be in touch. Meanwhile CHEERS ! Colleen.
